New partnership aims to further health system innovation in Alberta The Alberta-based, Canadian not-for-profit, Health Cities, is partnering with the Accelerating Change Transformation Team (ACTT) at the Alberta Medical Association (AMA) to help advance healthcare innovation and excellence across the province. The new partnership will leverage AMA-ACTT’s expertise and Health Cities’ ability to connect innovative solutions with real-world needs to address the health system’s current challenges. Together, they will link Alberta’s public health care system with cutting-edge health solutions to drive impactful outcomes. ACTT’s Executive Vice President, Health System Transformation, Christine deMontigny explains, “the new collaboration pairs Alberta-based experts, solutions and technology like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and immersive technologies, to help improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall health system in the province.
