Tam of Sinoveda, a life science company that says it is “committed to Western precision with roots that go directly back to Eastern medicine” as it develops herbal medicines.Hasan Uludag of the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta is using RNA technology to develop a drug to combat blood cancers. He has formed a spinoff company and has begun talks with pharmaceutical companies to get the new drug to market, reports Folio.Postmedia took a closer look at McKesson Canada’s new warehouse, a 316,000-square-foot facility that serves Alberta, parts of Saskatchewan and B.C., and cities in the Northwest Territories and Yukon.
