Digital Health Integration Readiness Platform Announces Second Cohort

The Digital Health Integration Readiness Platform, an initiative from Health City and Brightsquid, has accepted six Alberta companies to its second cohort. The initiative aims to better prepare small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to reach commercialization of their products and service, and navigate the complex integration requirements that are critical to success in the Alberta health system. The curriculum will focus on building the framework companies need in order to ensure best practices.

The companies were selected based on an extensive set of criteria, including stage of development, technology readiness, and potential for improved clinical and economic outcomes. The cohort includes Atom Health, Carm&A Health Inc, Heal-MeHealth GaugeLenica, LyfeMD, and Take2

Funding is partially provided by the University of Alberta Health Accelerator, which is a core program operating within the Health Hub, dedicated to seed stage start-ups with a proof of concept and problem-solution fit who are seeking to secure financing and grow their venture.

The Digital Health Integration Readiness Platform is an important step for the success of health companies in the province, and will allow companies starting out and growing in Alberta to remain in the province throughout all stages, driving economic development for the region.

Sessions will run June 17 – July 15, 2021. For more information, visit www.healthcities.ca.
